Captain Yoan was born in Cuba in 1976 and has over 30 years of fishing experience. Having first learned to fish with his grandparents, who took him to the local ponds in Cuba to fish for Tilapia with a stick and some string, he has always been on the search for new fishing adventures. This passion brought him to Florida in 2002, and he hasn’t looked back since. With well over a decade of experience studying, fishing, and succeeding in these waters, he is now a well-known and respected captain both locally and nationwide, and his several large sponsors are proof of his success and talent. What makes him unique as a charter captain is his strong attention to detail and his desire and ability to meet the needs of his clients.

His knowledge, experience and keen eye helped us catch fish throughout the day with at least 5 lunker peacock bass. He taught us a couple of fishing tricks that we'll be using on our future trips. Captain also kept us entertained with stories from his pro bass fishing circuit days during thunderstorm while we were fishing under the bridge., …
