If you're looking to battle monster Catfish, Falcon Lake is the place to do it! This trip is all about targeting trophy-sized Blue and Flathead Catfish, known to reach massive sizes in these rich waters. We’ll kick things off early, meeting between
6:30–7:00 AM for morning trips or 5:30–7:00 PM for evening and night trips. After making sure everyone is set up and comfortable, we’ll go over the plan for the day, cover safety guidelines, and then head out in search of the biggest Catfish Falcon Lake has to offer.
Using rod-and-reel setups designed for hauling in giants, we’ll fish with a variety of fresh-cut and live bait, placing our lines in prime locations where these whiskered monsters like to hide. Whether we’re setting up along deep channels, submerged structure, or drop-offs, we’ll use proven techniques to entice the biggest fish to bite. If you’re after a true trophy, night fishing can be especially productive, as big Catfish become more active after dark.
Trips last between 4 to 8 hours, giving us plenty of time to track down the lake’s biggest predators. Once the trip wraps up, we’ll meet at the nearest cleaning station, where we’ll clean and bag your catch at no extra charge.
We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and bottled water—you just need to bring your own snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate clothing. Depending on the time of year, temperatures can range from the mid-30s in winter to over 100°F in the summer, so be sure to dress accordingly.
