Raised around the outdoors, Captain Max developed a love for hunting and fishing from an early age. After moving down to the Emerald Coast for work and realizing the natural resources this area has to offer, the idea for a guide company was conceived. In 2024, Captain Max officially started his Guide Company, turning a passion into a career.
Our 4 hour, offshore fishing trip starts at 7 am or 1 pm out of JDF Marina in Panama City Beach. We will mainly target reef fish like Red Snapper, Triggerfish, and Grouper, but could also catch several other species like Amberjack, King Mackerel, Bonita, and Mahi Mahi. Most of the time will be spent fishing bait on the bottom, but we could also troll. This is entirely up to the clients. We fish from a 2024 Sportsman 282TE, with twin 300 Yamahas. This allows us to fish 6 comfortably and get to the fishing spots quickly! The boat is equipped with a head so you can do your business in private. We also provide an icebox with water, but you are welcome to bring any drinks or snacks you like, alcohol is allowed. All tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are provided.
