Captain Meghan's fishing trip started at 12:30 Aug 8 and we knew it would be hot but it was easier for us to take a late trip. CAPTAIN Trenton met us on time at the dock. Directions and all details were provided be email and text the day before. Pedro assisted Captain Trenton on our trip. They both showed us where to store our snacks and drinks. We stopped in the marina to buy live bait and ice and more drinks. Both Captain Trenton and Pedro told us to stay hydrated and let them know if we did not feel well due to motion or heat. They also said we could stand under the shade. They were frequently making sure our 6 year old granddaughter was feeling ok. They made sure we all had the opportunity to reel in fish and they navigated to new places when we were not getting bites. They helped teach our granddaughter to reel in fish, holding the rod with her. The sharks and rays were very heavy. We caught some and a few were too big to get in the boat. It was lots of fun for all 3 of us. Two of us got in the water beside the boat to cool off.. when we returned. Captain cleaned our fish, took pictures for us and packaged our filets to take home. This was the best adventure for our Galveston vacation. The Captain and Pedro were great in all aspects of the trip. Both were kind, helpful, courteous and pleasant. Captain told us to call in the future to find out how the fishing is going when we are ready to take our next trip.
Theboat was in excellent condition and was cleaned up immediately when we returned. They take good care of all the equipment. We never had any difficulty at all during the trip. We highly recommend Captain Meghan's fishing trips, and Captain Trenton and Pedro.

Captian Trenton was great, but make sure before you leave the dock to make a fuss about fuel. We purchased an epic jetty trip (5 to 6 miles out) and he didn't have enough fuel to get hardly anywhere. Definitely didn't see either jetty. I think management is short changing the captains and thus the customers.

Our captain, captain Corey, had everything ready to go and we were on the water and on the way to our fishing location on time. Corey, although very young, was an absolute professional and was just as excited to go fishing as we were! Enough can’t be said about that kid. He was on it from the time we arrived until the time we left the marina.

Corey had us on the fish from the first line getting wet, and we had a great time. The equipment we used for our 4hr trip was everything we needed, and allowed us to land a lot of fish.

I would never hesitate to recommend this charter and captain Corey for anyone looking to land fish and have a great time doing it!

Captain Burke was great ! He was there with a fresh rod when we got snagged on the rocks. Baited are hooks every time and engaged all of us in conversation. I would have insisted on keeping the ray my kid worked so hard to get to the boat, but equipment failure changed that because I wouldn't want to try and land that thing by hand and get hit by the barb. The captain acted like he didn't want to be there. Which made us uncomfortable from the start. If these are the kind of captains and equipment you have working for you I will just go back to Michael Marquez at Monsta Fishing.

We caught flounder, sheephead, stingray, mud eel, sand trout, a few shrimp stealing crabs and black drum. I have flounder in my freezer waiting to be cooked. They cleaned and filleted it for me. Be prepared to do some catch and release not everything is big enough to keep or good eating and there is a catch limit.

Sidenote: Ladies, don't look for a loo onboard. Take care of business before you go and don't drink 4 cups of coffee beforehand.

Captain JoJo is amazing! Great company, experienced and knowledgeable. They have everything you need just bring a hunger to fish, your own snacks and water. I highly recommend this adventure!
