Once found, the action was non-stop and very chaotic at times, which gets the heart pumping and makes you realize you are alive. Absolutely Amazing! Our trip couldn’t have started off better. All details were laid out the day prior and we arrived at the marina at 6:45am for a 7:00am departure. It was a beautiful morning, couldn’t have asked for better weather. Our captain, captain Corey, had everything ready to go and we were on the water and on the way to our fishing location on time. Corey, although very young, was an absolute professional and was just as excited to go fishing as we were! Enough can’t be said about that kid. He was on it from the time we arrived until the time we left the marina. Corey had us on the fish from the first line getting wet, and we had a great time. The equipment we used for our 4hr trip was everything we needed, and allowed us to land a lot of fish. I would never hesitate to recommend this charter and captain Corey for anyone looking to land fish and have a great time doing it! …

Captain Burke was great ! He was there with a fresh rod when we got snagged on the rocks. Baited are hooks every time and engaged all of us in conversation. Later in the trip we went after sharks and that was the best part. He dropped us right on top of the sharks and everyone of us caught a shark. We had a great time and can’t wait to go again! …

My family and I had a great time. Great memories and a good captain made the trip worth it. The 4 hour trip is about perfect for a family with small children because around the 3.5 hour mark my little siblings started to feel sea sick and the heat was getting to them. Sometimes the fish you are hoping for aren't the ones biting. That is why it is called fishing and not catching. When that is the case your guides can turn what could be a "bummer" trip into a fantastic day. Captain Johnathan and Deck hand Mike did that for our crew. We did catch fish and took home a beautiful Bull Red will feed all 8 of us. More importantly, we had a fantastic day on the water, great conversation with new friends, and learned a bit about Galveston Bay also. …

Honestly? Captain Burke wasn't my favorite. My boys didn't like him. He acted like two kids that have never been to the ocean should know what to do out there. I told him we hoped for a couple of sharks for the boys and hopefully bull reds as well. He dismissed that idea immediately saying we were after fish that were better to eat. We hooked a decent size ray that I wanted to keep and he immediately stated their meat sucked and we should let it go. Then the hook on the gaff completely came out of the end of the pole. I would have insisted on keeping the ray my kid worked so hard to get to the boat, but equipment failure changed that because I wouldn't want to try and land that thing by hand and get hit by the barb. The captain acted like he didn't want to be there. Which made us uncomfortable from the start. If these are the kind of captains and equipment you have working for you I will just go back to Michael Marquez at Monsta Fishing. …

Captain Jonathan was great! We attentive to our needs, honest about the fishing report and was very knowledgeable. Fishing was slow but we caught plenty of catfish, sand trout and even a 5ft hammerhead shark! Awesome experience! Thanks Jonathan for being a down to earth, humble family man!

We had a really amazing time! We all got a little sea sick but Jonathan talked us through it lol. We were all newbies to deep sea fishing and Shree had never fished before at all! He ended up catching a 50” Red Drum and I caught a 37” Red Drum. (Fyi they make an actual drum sound once on deck) Oh and we lost a Hammer Head… fisherman anonymous here we come 😂 Jonathan was talkative and extremely knowledgeable. The original trip was cancelled and replaced by Captain Derrick, which was a smaller boat that had no toilet of A/C facility. It was scheduled for early morning for our group's convenience, but the replacement was for the afternoon. After driving over 300 miles, my son was unable to fish wand was very disappointed. While Derrick was very friendly / talkative we were VERY disappointed that we could not fish the Jetty as promised, but only fished in the bay area. We caught only very small fish- lots of them, but certainly not what we expected. We have fished a lot on fresh water and on nice boats and this deep sea fishing trip was certainly NOT what we expected. A good price reduction is expected. …

My husband wanted to go fishing but I get bored in 20 minutes, so I was a bit skeptical of the whole thing. Plus, I had this image in my head of the Perfect Storm or Deadliest Catch. Totally, not like that! Ladies, if your man wants to take you along, GO! I can promise you won't be bored. We caught flounder, sheephead, stingray, mud eel, sand trout, a few shrimp stealing crabs and black drum. I have flounder in my freezer waiting to be cooked. They cleaned and filleted it for me. Be prepared to do some catch and release not everything is big enough to keep or good eating and there is a catch limit. Sidenote: Ladies, don't look for a loo onboard. Take care of business before you go and don't drink 4 cups of coffee beforehand. Captain JoJo is amazing! Great company, experienced and knowledgeable. They have everything you need just bring a hunger to fish, your own snacks and water. I highly recommend this adventure! …

Had a great time with Derrick fishing we hit speckled trout first in the morning and caught bait fish then enddd the day with landing a black tip shark . Great guys and really worked hard to get us novices a nice fish. Will definitely be booking again
