On this trip, you'll be targeting the inshore waters where a wide variety of great gamefish like to hang out. You'll be sightcasting for cruising Cobia, hitting the shore for Redfish, jigging the rocks and reefs for Triggerfish, Flounder, and Snappers, and even going after fast fish like Spanish Mackerel. On especially clear, calm days, there's also the possibility of going a little further out to chase Kingfish or even Mahi. Let Captain Rob know if you're interested in going after a specific species, and he'll make sure you'll have the right tackle on. He's also happy to give you some tips and tricks for bringing big fish over the rail, so you'll leave this trip a better fisherman than when you started. You'll be fishing from the deck of Captain Rob's 24' Kenner center console. She's fast and stable and will put you on the fish in a hurry! She also features standard electronics, including GPS and a fishfinder, and is fully kitted out for a comfortable and successful trip. My fishing adventure with my Grandkids was outstanding. Thats the bottom line! But before we got out on the water my communication with the Captain Experience group, booking, follow up, unexpected changes and final directions were thorough, friendly, encouraging and professional. They gave me a great foundation to have a superior experience with Captain Rob. I can't say enough great things about his boating and fishing knowledge! This was Grandson's first time ocean fishing and Capt Rob made sure they had a wonderful experience. Capt Rob was patient and took the time to explain the how two's casting and bringing the fish to the boat for netting. He was also willing to answer any and all questions I had about ocean fishing. Sheff we returned to the dock to clean the fish my Grandson's were just as interested to watch and learn how to clean and prepare our spoils for our trip back home. Just have to say Captain Rob is very special, great guide and great person. My husband's mom and step-dad from North Dakota were visiting and we wanted something special for them as well for my husband. My husband has dementia and has a really hard time the last couple of years. His mom is in her 80's and very arthritic, has problems with mobility and strength, but still wants to do things like get out and fish. Rob took all of this in stride, very patient, kind. All had a great time and I was so happy for Dave's parents in that they caught two beautiful fish, one red fish and one sheepshead. We ate the red fish last night as per Captain Rob's instruction for "Redfish on the half shell". Never ever had any fish any better. Standing ovation, dude. …

Capt Rob did the best he could do under weather conditions we experienced. It was storming about 30 minutes prior to our departure. He gave us the option if we still wanted to go. We decided to go out fishing after about a 45 minute delay. The water was full of seaweed that he said he never has seen before but still we were on fish. About an hour after fishing the second storm was on its way. Capt. Rob decided it was in his better judgment to get us safely back on land. We waited the second storm to pass which was about 45 minutes. Then he said “ let’s go fishing”. We returned to the seaweed infested inshore and continued our fishing excursion. We were able to bring dinner home for 6 of us. Patients was the name of the game today. Bad weather but Capt. Rob did his job successfully. …
