We had an absolute blast. Coming from a nearby state with active fishing and active fishing ourselves we were reluctant to book. I am so glad we did. We had the best experience and lots of fish. He was very outgoing and super down to earth. We are booking our next trip already.

Overall, we had a fun trip with Captain Rob. He was a good conversationalist and knowledgeable about the area. I was disappointed to learn that my notes placed while booking didn't make it to him as they were intended to help him prepare for what we were hoping to target (redfish). We arrived a little early, so maybe it was our fault, but I was surprised Captain Rob hadn't caught live bait and we spent the first hour of our 4-hour trip unsuccessfully trying to catch something to fish with. It was a slow day fishing (not in the guide's control) with some shrimp he had left over from the day before and we only brought home 3 keepers. It was a decent trip overall, but a little underwhelming for the money spent.

This was Grandson's first time ocean fishing and Capt Rob made sure they had a wonderful experience. Capt Rob was patient and took the time to explain the how two's casting and bringing the fish to the boat for netting. He was also willing to answer any and all questions I had about ocean fishing. Sheff we returned to the dock to clean the fish my Grandson's were just as interested to watch and learn how to clean and prepare our spoils for our trip back home. The family plans on having a nice fish fry in the next couple of days. So, if you want a great experience give the Captain Experiences a call and book with Capt Rob.

Captain Rob was really a good guide. We went on an evening run and it was slow fishing at first but we finally got on some! Definitely recommend if never done before. Best bang for the buck!

I Was disappointed
Captain Rob was a nice guy and had a great personality! But my son and I never landed a fish! My wife and daughter caught a couple catfish which we can do any day at our home in a pond. Not the salt water experience we wanted. Equipment was a little sub par.

About an hour after fishing the second storm was on its way. Capt. Rob decided it was in his better judgment to get us safely back on land. We waited the second storm to pass which was about 45 minutes. Then he said “ let’s go fishing”. We returned to the seaweed infested inshore and continued our fishing excursion. We were able to bring dinner home for 6 of us. Patients was the name of the game today. Bad weather but Capt. Rob did his job successfully.
