With over 30 years of experience fishing these waters, Captain William knows exactly where to find the bite and how to put you on fish, no matter the season. Whether you're a seasoned angler or brand new to striper fishing, this trip is all about making memories with family and friends while experiencing the thrill of watching those rods bend!

Depending on the time of year and current conditions, you’ll be using a variety of proven techniques to hook into some trophy stripers. From dropping live or cut bait on down rods to pulling planer boards or throwing topwater plugs, you'll get hands-on experience with different fishing styles and tactics. Not only will you learn what baits work best, but Captain William will also teach you how to hook your own bait, properly net fish, and gain a deeper understanding of the incredible fishery Lake Murray has to offer.

But that’s not all—this trip is also a great opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge electronics that help put more fish in the boat. Captain William will walk you through how he uses Garmin DownScan, LiveScope, the Thumper, and the Splasher to locate and attract stripers, giving you an inside look at how technology plays a key role in modern fishing.

You'll be fishing aboard a 22’ Sea Pro center console, powered by a reliable 200 HP Yamaha engine—a perfect setup for navigating the lake and keeping you comfortable throughout the trip. The boat is fully equipped with a live well to keep bait fresh, a fish cooler for your catch, and all the rods, reels, and tackle you'll need. Captain William even offers fish cleaning for a small additional fee, so you can take your fresh catch home ready to cook.
