Captain Michael has been fishing the coastal bend his entire life, and can accommodate pick-up locations all over! Every chance he gets he's out on the water chasing down anything that can swim! Though he spent the majority of his career working on the rigs (which allowed him to guide trips on his weeks of leave) he recently switched to guiding trips full-time. His true calling of sharing his extensive knowledge of fish habits and putting smiles on clients faces was much more important to him! These days, that's exactly what he does! And he's really good at it!
Captain Michael is an expert fisherman who loves nothing more than to help others catch Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Flounder for an amazing day out on Texas' Coastal Bend! His main fishing spots are in Aransas, Copano, St. Charles, Carlos, Mesquite, Ayres, and San Antonio Bays, and he's happy to pick you up from almost anywhere. Captain Michael's boat is a 23' Crestliner with a Mercury XS 150 motor that provides a comfortable and speedy ride out to catch fish. This boat can go into shallow water and is great for catching Redfish. It also has a trolling motor, and a spacious front fishing deck. The boat can accommodate up to four guests. When it comes to fishing, Captain Michael likes to use live bait, cut bait, and some artificial lures to target these inshore fish with great success. He will provide everything from rods, reels, tackle, bait, to cleaning your catch so that you can focus on enjoying your day out on the water.
