Captain Bill grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan. Born and raised in Manitowoc Wisconsin as a young boy captain Bill would spend endless days fishing the piers and rivers for Salmon and Trout. Captain Bill entered the Marine Corps in December of 1988, served eight honorable years and left the Marine Corps in March of 1997. After several years of perfecting his craft of Salmon and Trout fishing he began charter fishing in 2013. Captain Bill has been giving his customers life long memories shared with family and friends ever since.

Get ready for a true Great Lakes experience chasing powerful salmon on the open waters of Lake Michigan with Captain Bill out of Manitowoc. These 6- and 8-hour trips are built for serious trolling action and can accommodate up to 6 anglers for a memorable day offshore.

You’ll target hard-fighting salmon using specialized trolling spreads designed for these waters. Conditions on the lake can be 10–20° cooler than on shore, so dressing in layers and bringing rain gear is strongly recommended. Many guests also take motion sickness medication like Dramamine before departure to stay comfortable throughout the trip.

There’s plenty of room in the cabin to store food, drinks, and personal gear. You’re welcome to bring snacks, beverages, and alcohol. After the trip, your catch will be cleaned and bagged for you dockside.

- A cooler with ice for your fillets (leave it in your vehicle until fish cleaning)
- Proper layers, rain gear, sunglasses, and sunscreen

Everyone 16 and older must carry a paper copy of a Wisconsin fishing license with the Great Lakes Salmon stamp. A 2-day Great Lakes license is available for residents and non-residents and can be purchased online at the Wisconsin DNR page or at stores like Fleet Farm or Walmart.
