Hi, I'm Garrett! I currently take folks on freshwater and saltwater fishing charters in south Florida. I operate mainly on Osborne and Ida as well as the Everglades and we run saltwater trips out of Pompano Beach.

I grew up fishing since I was three years old learning everything from my dad and good old trial and error. After years of working in many different jobs and a stint in the Air Force I found an opportunity to get into this business and I took that leap of faith and never looked back.

I run two boats depending on what we're doing that day. For freshwater I use a 21 foot Tracker Grizzly 2072 with a 90 hp Mercury outboard and for saltwater I have a 30 foot SeaVee 290i cuddy with a 420 Yanmar. I operate saltwater charters with a good friend who has also been fishing here since early childhood so it's always a team effort when we're going offshore.

As for what sets me apart from other guides, it's very common for a lot of guides to...

never run as far or as hard as they could have to ensure you get what you came for. I don't operate like that. We will run until we find fish. If you aren't happy we're not happy.

Outside of guiding people on fishing trips I spend a lot of time reading and working on some kind of project but for the most part fishing really does consume my life and I like it that way. I've been extremely fortunate to travel the world and have a lot of amazing adventures. I hunt a bit here and there and I've been to Africa on safari several times. I really enjoy music and socializing with my people so going to concerts has always been a big deal to me.

When you book with me you're getting to take on that bucket list trip with me and a team of people who genuinely care about being the best in the business. Reputation is everything and we don't waste a single opportunity to prove we are the best down here. We are sportsmen first and getting to take you along and bring that fish to hand you've been dreaming about is what we live to do.

What was your last halloween costume?
Not super into halloween
What do you want for Christmas this year?
I always tell everyone just pick up a lure of some kind from the shop and I'm happy!
How did you get started guiding?
You just gotta take a step out in faith and go for it! I had the dream and I eventually decided that trying and failing would be better than never trying at all. The opportunity came up and I took it
What makes you different from other guides?
I'm thankful to be here. I worked the jobs that were going nowhere and I pulled all the overtime. I know what it's like to be on that assembly line or in that cubicle and being so willing to give anything to be where I am now. I know how it feels to be a client on a trip you've been looking forward to for months or years and hoping your guide cares enough to go the extra mile for you and earn your business and more importantly your RESPECT. Getting to do this for a living is a big dream for a lot of people and I never take it for granted. We hunt'em down and put fish in the boat every day because it's what we're born to do

Never had a guide work this hard. One of the nicest guys I ever fished with. Planning on using him again in very near future. Tight lines !
