Trips are available as 4-hour morning trips, 4-hour afternoon trips, or 6-hour morning trips, all
focused on targeting Lake Erie's famous Walleye fishery. Trolling is the primary technique used, allowing anglers to efficiently cover water and locate active fish. In Ohio waters, anglers are permitted to fish with up to three rods per person, helping maximize opportunities throughout the day.
Captain Jim welcomes anglers of all experience levels and enjoys sharing the knowledge he's gained from years of fishing and tournament competition. Whether you're interested in learning more about electronics, trolling strategies, boat setup, or simply catching fish, he enjoys helping guests get the most out of their time on the water.
You'll fish aboard a 23' North River Seahawk powered by a Yamaha 200HP outboard. Designed specifically for Great Lakes conditions, the boat features an enclosed cabin, bimini top, premium Garmin electronics, live sonar technology, wireless trolling motor, live bait well, and plenty of room for up to 3 anglers to fish comfortably.
All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and any necessary live bait are included. Guests simply need to bring a valid Ohio fishing license, appropriate clothing, snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
These trips are family-friendly, and Captain Jim enjoys introducing younger anglers to the sport. Whether you're chasing your first Lake Erie Walleye or refining your trolling game, you'll spend the day fishing with a guide who truly enjoys helping others succeed on the water.
