Our first time gigging and we all LOVED it! Oldest person was 78 yo and youngest was 10 yrs old. We didn’t see lot of flounders but still had a great time gigging fish and crabs! Capt Leaf and son, Cole, was very knowledgeable and laid back. They made us feel welcomed and communication was timely.
We will be back!

Boat and Equipment were exceptional and Cole had made sure to catch plenty of live bait for our trip. My son and I caught red, sheepshead, and flounder and cooked them for dinner that night! It was our first trip so some of us were a bit nervous, but they helped calm the nerves and make it a great trip for all of us! Even for our foreign exchange student from Kazakhstan had a blast! Booked for 10 houe offshore game fish. When we boarded the vessel, I over heard captain Matt be so excited to snapperfish?! Confused I inquired as to why we were snapper fishing when I booked 1400 dollar offshore trip for game fish. He connected me to Heather, the boss who was real nice and explained to her that I have been game fishing all over the world, and I would not waste my time or money snapper fishing. They ate delicious but that was not what we were looking for. We wanted to fight fish. She assured me that she would charge me that we would go for big game.
Well we went out to a marked obstruction on any navigation chart... and sure enough, captain Matt set us up with snapper rigs!!! He put one shark liter out. Oh, we were also supposed to have live bait. They didn't have any on board. Then they through a cast net out twice and that was it. Anyway... the 2 sharks we hooked of course instantly snapped because we weren't set up for "real fish" you know, the ones I paid for... but hey Captain Matt had a blast fishing for those frigging snapper. Glad I could take you fishing
