Red snapper chances are best from late October thru early March. You will leave the dock at the Freeport Marina around 6am and book it out 100 miles offshore where the water is between 300-1000 feet deep. You can expect to encounter some crazy specimens at these depths. Thus you'll be using heavy tackle to bring in the large snapper, 50 lb Gag & Black Grouper, big tuna, blue marlin, sailfish, swordfish and wahoo to name a few.
