If chasing big game offshore is your idea of the perfect day, this 12-hour deep sea adventure out of Freeport is the trip for you. With Captain Justin at the helm, you’ll head 30 to 75 miles into the Gulf, fishing depths of 100 to 350 feet for some of the hardest-fighting and most sought-after species in the region.

This trip is built for serious anglers ready to go the distance and put their gear—and grit—to the test. Depending on the season, you’ll target a powerhouse lineup of species including Red Snapper, Amberjack, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel, and Mahi Mahi. Drop deep for Grouper species like Scamp, Gag, Snowy, and Black, or troll the blue water rips for lightning-fast pelagics. Whether you're bottom fishing, jigging, trolling, or trying your hand at spearfishing, every drop holds the potential for a trophy catch.

You’ll be fishing from a 30’ Sea Chaser center console powered for performance and equipped for comfort. With plenty of room for up to six anglers, this boat features the latest navigation and fishfinding technology to keep you locked in on the bite. Premium Shimano and Penn rods and reels, an arsenal of artificial lures, and fresh live bait are all included. Snacks and drinks are provided on board, and once the day wraps, your catch will be cleaned and filleted dockside so it’s ready to hit the table.

Fuel is included in the trip price, and the captain and crew are fully prepared to help you make the most of your time on the water. Just remember to purchase a local Texas fishing license for each angler before you come aboard. Some species may be subject to regulations or require tags, so the captain will walk you through the specifics before lines go in.

Bring your shades, sunscreen (non-spray), and your go-to offshore gear—beer is welcome in moderation, but leave the hard liquor and glass at home. This trip is all about going deep, fishing hard, and coming back with stories that last a lifetime. All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
