Larry is the man! Great at teaching the “why” of fishing and helping you learn some new tips and tricks. It doesn’t hurt that we caught a ton of redfish and trout as well. If you want to catch fish on artificials, this is your guy.

Capt. Larry is a true professional.
He quickly developed realistic expectation and promptly delivered and then some.
My two teenagers and I showed up never having done anything like this before.
Capt. Larry explained that conditions were not ideal, but we should still catch a few.
First thing took us to a proven spot, it took a little bit, but my 13-year-old daughter picked up a couple in the first 3-+- minutes. Larry knew immediately what was going on with the fish and put us all in position, we stayed pretty much in the same spot for the rest of the day and did very well. All we caught wee Redfish; we caught several in the 5.5#+ class. We had a great day.
Or second day was a good day as well, each of us caught enough fish to feel like we knew what we were doing.
Larry has a great way about him to make you feel comfortable and is very capable. We will come back again as long as we can fish with him.

This was one of the best things I ever booked. This was a surprise for my boyfriend and he had an awesome time. I came into this with very limited knowledge of fishing and left extremely confident in the fishing skills Larry had taught me. We each caught one fish, however that’s because we saw dolphins!!! I told Larry I really would like to see more dolphins and man he delivered!! Dolphins swam straight up to the boat it was amazing to see them in their natural habitat. Larry was very interested in what WE wanted to do and he was an amazing guide. I will for sure be bringing my father in law back to fish with Larry. 100% recommend!!!

Booked a trip with Capt. Larry and had a great time on the water. He put me on fish at every spot we went to. He explained the what and why for everything we were doing and definitely turned it into one big learning experience. I would definitely recommend him as a guide and I will be using him again for future trips.

Larry was an absolute rock star!! My previous reservation fell through with another company and he gladly cleared his schedule to take my son and I on our first inshore fishing trip. Lots of fun, education and fish activity. We will definitely be booking with him again.

Everything went well and I had a lot of fun. Larry explained that the February freeze kinda depleted much of the population of fish and the Park Game & Wildlife had to get stricter on being able to keep the fish now. But I still had lots of fun.

First time doing a fishing trip. Captain Larry was very welcoming. He sent me reminders the day before the trip and called me to talk about how the trip would go, suggestions,
and questions I had.
He was very informational with showing me the basics of fishing and I learned to cast perfectly. Ended up catching a few fish!

We didn't have the best experience. Part of this is probably our fault. We were not aware that we would be hopping off the boat and wade fishing in the middle of the ocean. When I hear wade fishing I envision closer to the shore. We didn't take the right type of shoes for walking in mud/sand that you literally sink into while walking through the literal middle of the ocean. We aren't really as physically fit as we needed to be for the conditions either. I wish we had had a more in-depth description prior to our excursion. It was not enjoyable for me and not much more for my spouse. I wound up sitting on the boat for more than half of the trip because I wasn't comfortable with the conditions but we still paid full price, even though I caught nothing while I was out fishing for quite a while. We also didn't catch muchin total. Brought home 2 reds, caught 1 bass and a flounder total. I wouldn't do it again. Maybe a different type of trip, but not this one! The captain was okay, but not great. I also didn't feel very comfortable with what could have been swimming anywhere in the vicinity. The captain assured us sharks would not be near, but who knows?? I do know there are sharks in the ocean! Lol

Larry called us the day before to check in. He offered to pick us up in Port A, which was more convenient than getting to Aransas Pass. He was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. I would use him again.

My boyfriend and I had so much fun on our trip! Capt. Larry is very knowledgeable about the native species and their behaviors. We had never exclusively fished with artificial lures before but Larry taught us techniques to properly use them. I would definitely recommend a trip with Larry to anyone!

Once again, Larry did a superb job! My older brother and I had a great full day on the most beautiful of water. I had a peak experience of my fishing life (some 55 years of fishing) with an early morning catch of two gorgeous red fish while wade fishing along a grassy bank, and then soon after the 2nd catch, having a porpoise appear some 30 yards to my right doing 5 minute display of its own style of aggressive fishing. Wow!
Thank you Larry, and thanks for making both our days with you so fun. I especially appreciate how you helped my older brother have a great time in spite of his physical challenge wading.
