About Your Trip

Ready for the trip of a lifetime? Let Captain Troy show you where the monsters lurk around Aransas Pass. As a 3rd generation Aransas fishing guide it's safe to say that Captain Troy knows how to get his clients on fish, and big fish at that! His passion is chasing tailing reds, and his 23' Majek was custom-built in 2017 to that effect. With an incredibly small draft of 6'' while still and 4'' while on the move, he can follow those tailing reds almost anywhere to get you on 'em. The vessel can handle some mild chop as well, and, with a Mercury 300hp Pro XS on the stern, can rip a clip of 50 knots to get you to the fish quick!

Captain Troy will fish anyway that suits your fancy. He is a master with artificial lures and loves repping local brands like Nacho Daddy's Spoons and 3JD Soft Plastics, both of which are out of Aransas Pass. He'll throw live bait to attract those peskier fish, and he loves to see his clients hook into a big fish on the fly! Moreover, he provides all the equipment, lures, bait, and flies you need to guarantee your fishing success.

Your day will start before the sun comes up and will be spent exploring the renowned flats and inshore bays around Aransas. So whatever flavor you choose, go out for a full day with Captain Troy to chase big reds, speckled trout, and if you're there August-October even the Silver King.
