About Your Trip

Head out with Captain Kaleb for an epic day of inshore fishing as you explore the Wando River and the surrounding saltwater rivers.

Aboard Captain Kaleb's 22' Ranger you can expect to use a variety of live baits and a combination of different fishing techniques like using bottom rigs, popping corks, and a few other tricks Captain Kaleb can't disclose on the interwebs (He doesn't want to give away all his secrets!)

Whether you choose
a 4 hour, 6 hour, or full-day 8 hour trip, you can expect to target Redfish, Flounder, Blackdrum, and Trout as you explore the beautiful tidal marshes and backwater rivers. Longer trips give you exponentially better odds at catching both more and bigger fish.

Captain Kaleb will provide all you need for a great day of fishing the tidal creeks and bay area of the Charleston waterways including all the tackle, bait, coolers, ice, water, fishing licenses, and safety equipment. Everything you could possibly need for a safe, enjoyable, and successful adventure. He will also clean and bag you catch for you at the end of the day.

All he recommends you bring is your weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, non-marking shoes, snacks, personal beverages (Alcohol is allowed but no glass please).

Captain Kaleb is the only one in his family who became a professional captain. However, his granddad was a life long fisherman and taught Captain Kaleb a great deal about fishing from a very young age. It is no wonder then that fishing makes Captain Kaleb feel the most connected to his late mentor. He knows how proud his granddad would be to see the career he has made from the common love of fishing that they shared.

As you
are probably aware there are many tactics and techniques used in the sport of fishing. Captain Kaleb has now been fishing for over 25 years and has been fishing the Charleston waters for 10 years. He is an expert on where the fish are biting and will have you on them in no time! He caught his first fish when he was four years old and still has the mounting ( a big 6 incher ). He loves navigating the weather and water in order to find and outsmart the fish. You’ll enjoy trying various combinations of bait and tackle to catch just the right fish.
