I run two different boats for either bay fishing or jetties. Depending on the size of group I might provide a deckhand.

I provide everything except fishing license, personal drinks and snacks. I provide all bait, tackle and water.

Fish the productive bay waters of the Bolivar Peninsula with Captain James aboard his 24’ Majek Reaper, a boat built perfectly for running shallow and getting you into the fish. These calm inshore waters are ideal for anglers of all skill levels and especially great for families and kids.

Depending on the season, you’ll target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Cobia, and more. Expect a mix of light tackle and bottom fishing as Captain James moves between reefs, shorelines, and structure to stay on the bite.

Captain James loves introducing young anglers to fishing, so kids are more than welcome. Be sure to ask about child-sized life vests or bring your own, and don’t forget snacks for the crew.

What to Bring

A valid Texas fishing license for each guest, sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, and any drinks you’d like (alcohol is fine in moderation—no glass or hard liquor).
