... Read More hunts start at legal shooting time and are usually wrapped-up by 9:00 or so but you can hunt till 10:00 if you haven't reached your limit. They hunt only private lakes, most of which are on farms and hold lots and lots of ducks and geese. They have access to and hunt over 60 lakes, starting in the Bowie/Bellevue area and headed north to the Red River. Blake and his team will take care of the decoys, the dogs, and the blinds. All you need to bring is your camo, shotguns, shells and snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring your own duck calls as well if you'd like. Never hurts to bring them!
After wrapping up the morning duck hunt, they extend the adventure to include an evening hog-hunting leg of the trip, so you can make the most out of your time in North Texas. Blake and his team will guide you to prime hog hunting locations in the same area. North Texas is known for its abundant hog population, providing an excellent opportunity to add some thrilling hog hunting to your trip.
For this hog hunting portion, Blake's team will continue to provide the necessary equipment and expertise. They will ensure you have access to well-maintained blinds and an experienced guide who knows the best hog hunting spots.
To participate in the combo duck and hog hunts, you'll still need to bring your own camo, shotguns, ammunition, and any personal preferences for snacks and drinks.
About Your Guide
When we started guiding hunts several years ago, we hunted dove, deer, hogs, and exotics, too. Since then we've added turkey hunts and duck hunts, both of which have turned out to be our personal favorites.
For me, It has always been different when it comes to duck hunting. Maybe its the fast-paced action that I love, or I suppose it could be being able to talk and cut up between volleys. Whatever it is, I know that bird hunting is for me.

Packing / Extras
Everything you'll need for your trip
You'll need to bring your own shotgun, plenty of steel shot shells (we recommend 3" #4s or #2s), full camo with face mask, snacks & drinks. Some places we hunt do require waders so be sure and ask when booking your hunt. And don't forget your valid Texas hunting license with federal duck stamp. A flashlight and/or headlamp always comes in handy.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Blake will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
Payment & Tipping
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a full refund. Your safety is our top concern.
