He's a pro when it comes to fishing the Laguna Madre, and he knows how to put you on the big ones! Whether you're an experienced angler, a greenhorn looking to learn more, or a vacationer looking to spice up your summer travels, you'll have a blast out there.

When you're fishing with Captain Ronnie, you'll be aiming for the "Texas Triple" or the "Texas Slam"—both names for when you catch a Flounder, a Redfish, and a Speckled Trout in one day! You can also expect to hook Black Drum and Sheepshead, both of which share habitat with Redfish. Generally, you'll be fishing shrimp on popping corks, which really attract big surface bites. Be ready, because you never know which bite is going to be your personal record!

Captain Ronnie runs his trips from a 24' Dargle Scout, a perfect boat for this environment. She's powered by a brand-new 250-HP Suzuki, so you'll have no problem getting out to where the fish are. She also sports a PowerPole for easy maneuvering in shallow water. Ronnie provides everything you need for a great trip, so just bring some sunscreen, a cooler with some snacks and drinks, and your Texas saltwater fishing license and you'll be good to go!

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
