Head out with one of the premier duck guides in South Texas in Ryan. His normal bag consists of: redhead, pintails, teal, widgeon, blue bills, gadwall, and much more, with occasional goose in the mix as well. Trips include decoys, blinds, waders, retrievers and bird cleaning as well.
You will ride out to the blind aboard Ryan's air boat. The all-terrain vessel can take you back into the shallowest of water or even cut across
... Read More marshland so he can drop you straight at the blind.
Beyond a myriads of blinds set up across the South Texas coast, Ryan also has two pontoon boats outfitted as mobile duck blinds as well. He'll often bring his stove along too so you can enjoy some hot breakfast while you hunt. (and during the cold months: huddle by it for warmth as well!)
Make sure to bring your own Texas hunting license and duck stamp, eye protection (amber polarized fishing glasses recommended), and food and drinks. Arrangements will be made for pick up location.
Trips are chartered out of Arroyo City and Port Mansfield
Enjoy the wildlife in the bay. See wildlife in their natural habitat, and possibly an alligator! Go places no other boat can go. The experience of riding an airboat is like no other!
About Your Guide
Independent Guide
Captain Ryan started fishing in the bay as a boy, and has loved it ever since. He enjoys being with people on the bay and showing them the techniques that he use to catch monster fish. Although Ryan uses a variety of techniques, he prefer sight-fishing in the clear water and poling his clients up to tailing Reds. It's always great to see my clients catch their first fish! Fishing is something that has to be experienced to be fully appreciated!
Ryan also has years
