About Your Trip

Climb aboard with Captain Meghan and explore the Jetties of Galveston Bay on her 21’ Mako! These charters are great for any level of fisherman, and especially for families with children. However, you must be at least five years old to ride this ride!

On this trip, you'll target classic Texas sportfish, including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and even Sharks! Once you're off the dock, you'll head 5-6 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico, fishing both the North and South Jetties. These jetties are a perfect place for fish to congregate, so you can expect tons of rod-bending action once you're out there.

Captain Meghan's 21' Mako center console can accommodate up to 6 people, so bring some friends! She'll provide all the gear you need, so all you need to show up with is a Texas Saltwater Fishing License, some food and drinks, and an ice box for your catch! Finally, you'll be able to purchase live bait for an additional fee. Captain Meghan and her crew will also clean and fillet your fish for you. We hope you have a good recipe for fish tacos!

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Meghan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Directions and all details were provided be email and text the day before. Pedro assisted Captain Trenton on our trip. They both showed us where to store our snacks and drinks. We stopped in the marina to buy live bait and ice and more drinks. Both Captain Trenton and Pedro told us to stay hydrated and let them know if we did not feel well due to motion or heat. They also said we could stand under the shade. They were frequently making sure our 6 year old granddaughter was feeling ok. They made sure we all had the opportunity to reel in fish and they navigated to new places when we were not getting bites. They helped teach our granddaughter to reel in fish, holding the rod with her. The sharks and rays were very heavy. We caught some and a few were too big to get in the boat. It was lots of fun for all 3 of us. Two of us got in the water beside the boat to cool off.. when we returned. Captain cleaned our fish, took pictures for us and packaged our filets to take home. This was the best adventure for our Galveston vacation. The Captain and Pedro were great in all aspects of the trip. Both were kind, helpful, courteous and pleasant. Captain told us to call in the future to find out how the fishing is going when we are ready to take our next trip.
Theboat was in excellent condition and was cleaned up immediately when we returned. They take good care of all the equipment. We never had any difficulty at all during the trip. We highly recommend Captain Meghan's fishing trips, and Captain Trenton and Pedro.

Our captain, captain Corey, had everything ready to go and we were on the water and on the way to our fishing location on time. Corey, although very young, was an absolute professional and was just as excited to go fishing as we were! Enough can’t be said about that kid. He was on it from the time we arrived until the time we left the marina.

Corey had us on the fish from the first line getting wet, and we had a great time. The equipment we used for our 4hr trip was everything we needed, and allowed us to land a lot of fish.

I would never hesitate to recommend this charter and captain Corey for anyone looking to land fish and have a great time doing it!

Captain Jonathan was awesome! Very honest and upfront about weather conditions and what fish to expect to catch. Captain was very friendly and helpful! When fish weren’t bitting, captain was Johnny on the spot to get us to a new spot in order to catch fish. We had a great time on our 6 hour trip and came back with plenty to eat! Captain Experiences is home to 1,600+ quality, vetted fishing and hunting guides across the US and beyond. Our mission is to Unlock the Outdoors by making it quick and easy to book the trip of a lifetime every time with our Damn Good Guides.
We vet our guides and only partner with the best of the best. Our guides do their very best to keep you safe, show you a great time, and send you home with a memorable experience shared with family and friends.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
