JD did not bribe me for this review. I have used a fishing guide service 3 previous times in my life, and didn’t enjoy any of them. So when my fishing buddy called and asked if I wanted to hire a guide service, I reluctantly agreed to it. JD was very professional, yet had some great personality. He took the time to explain what we needed to do, and he let us go about doing it, and enjoying the hell out of it. spent the entire time watching every move we made to ensure we didn’t get hurt or hooked, but kept coaching us as we needed in the most friendly manner. I had one of the best times I can remember, and if I get the chance to come back, you can bet I am going to book another trip with him. Oh, I didn’t mention he took us out the evening prior to the trip, just to show us the ropes, and it was a great way to spend an evening. Oh, and one other thing I failed to mention, we did limit out!

Capt. JD runs an excellent guide service and was well prepared for our day of fishing. This time of year we trolled the waters which is quite fun if you have never tried that. He moved us around the lake and at each location we picked up a few more stripers so that by noon we had a nice catch to take home. He is pleasant to be around and enjoys taking folks out for a great time fishing. I highly recommend Crosscreek Guide Service and would not hesitate to book another trip with JD.

We couldn’t have a more perfect guide on our striper fishing trip today. JD is extremely knowledgeable and worked very hard to get us in the right spots. We had a hot start which slowed a bit, but JD didn’t give up and we find just where the big ones were. We both caught our limit- thanks to the captain! On our drive home we were already talking about our next trip- it will defiantly be with Cross Creek Guide Service! Thanks JD!
