About Your Trip

If you’ve been itching to swap the office chair for a cooler on the deck of a boat, this is your shot. Just east of Dallas, Lake Ray Hubbard is a catfish haven — wide open water, quiet coves, and the kind of tug-at-your-rod action that'll remind you why you fell in love with fishing in the first place.

This four-hour trip is built for anyone who wants to get their hands dirty and put
meat in the boat. You’ll be chasing Blue Catfish, Channel Cats, and the occasional gnarly Flathead, using a mix of bottom fishing and cut bait — simple, effective, no-frills tactics that just work. Whether you're looking to stock the freezer or battle it out with a lake monster, the gear’s ready, the bait’s fresh, and the bite is usually hot.

You’ll head out on a 24’ Lagoon center console powered by a 150 HP Mercury — plenty of boat to get you where the fish are, with room to move when the rods start bending. It’s rigged with a livewell and all the essentials, and your guide’s got the experience to put you on fish fast. No mates, no fluff, just the essentials and a seasoned hand at the helm.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided — and your guide will even clean your fish at the end. Bring your favorite cold drinks, your go-to snacks, and a valid Texas freshwater license. Beer’s fine (cans only), and if you’ve got lucky fishing socks, now’s the time.

Whether you're a seasoned angler or just want a break from the usual weekend routine, this trip is all about good times, bent rods, and maybe a few fish tales worth telling.
