About Your Trip

Head offshore from the Sea Center on Big Pine Key for a true blue-water experience! After about a 30-minute ride, we’ll begin the search for signs of life—every trip is different, and that’s part of the thrill. While this style of fishing requires a little patience, the reward is some of the Florida Keys’ most prized catches.

We’ll troll for mahi, wahoo, tuna, and sailfish, cast live bait and light tackle to mahi, and—depending on
the season and your preference—deep drop with electric reels or hand-crank for snowy grouper, tilefish, and rosies. On the way back in, we may even stop at the reef for snapper and grouper if time and conditions allow.

Your trip includes ice, water, and coolers—just bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and sun gear (hats, shirts, sunglasses, sunscreen). Perfect for anglers looking for a true offshore adventure and the chance at trophy fish!

Leave a note when booking to customize your start time or if you have a preferred fish or fishing method.

My name is Captain Tom, and I’ve spent my life on the water. Growing up in New Jersey, I developed a passion for boating that has carried through decades of experience behind the helm. For the past 10 years, I’ve called the Florida Keys home, where I’m raising my daughter and enjoying island life to the fullest.

When I’m not running charters, you can usually find me doing the same things I share with my guests—fishing, lobstering, snorkeling, or spending
time at the sandbar. I love showing people what makes the Keys so special, from chasing your dream catch to spotting wildlife or simply relaxing on a sunset cruise.

Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, I’d be honored to share my home waters and give you a true local’s experience of the Florida Keys

Tom was great! He got our beginner group on lobsters and even though it was late in the season, we still caught a good amount of keepers. We inshore fished for a bit after we had enough water time. Fish were slow to bite but Tom worked hard to find hot spots so we could get on the fish. Great conversion, cool guy and overall we had a blast. I’d definitely recommend a trip with...
