Captain Chuck is a local fishing guide with years of experience on the waters of Key West. He offers full-day fishing charters aboard his beautiful 47' Bertram sportfisher. On this charter trip, you'll have the opportunity to catch a variety of offshore species, including Amberjack, Grouper, Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel and more!

Captain Chuck will provide you with top-quality fishing gear for the day, including rods, reels, and tackle. He will also provide expert instruction on how to catch the various fish species in the area so you can improve your fishing while you're having a blast!

In addition to the fishing, Captain Chuck's 47' Bertram sportfisher is a comfortable and spacious boat, with plenty of room for up to six anglers. She sports a fully air-conditioned cabin with a galley and head, plus outriggers, Furuno radar and sonar, live wells, and more. She's also equipped with all the necessary safety gear and electronics, so you can focus on reeling in your catch.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

I booked a trip through Captain Experiences for a June 9th fishing out of Key West. I was called a few days before the trip the boat I booked broke down but they found another captain to take us. He stated there was a little difference in price but he would take care of the difference. They required a down payment and the difference would be paid the day of the trip through a QR code they send you. The price of the first boat was $1308. When I got the second captain's confirmation, the price was $1300. With Captain experience, there was a balance of $960.00. When we arrived for our trip I was told there is a balance of $1105 owed and they have never used a QR code I would have to pay with a credit card. Captain Experience has never booked with this captain before and only paid him $195.00 of my $348 deposit. Captain Experience was very good in keeping communications up to the trip. Because they owe me $145.00 all I hear is crickets! I recommend not dealing with these people but directly with the captains for booking your bucket list fishing trip.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
