About Your Trip

This trip is in the Gulf of Mexico (America if you prefer), and we fish anywhere from along the beaches out to the reefs that are up to ten miles out.

Depending on time of year and conditions, we whack trout, flounder, snapper, cobia, pompano, grouper, spanish and king mackerel, sheepshead and many other species for some rod bending action, or hit it a little further offshore to troll the nearshore waters for giant Mackerel
or bottom fish for a myriad of snapper and grouper species that call the Florida State waters home.

Captain Hanks 22' Allcraft is the perfect fishing vessel for 4 guests fishing either inshore or out to the deeper water when the swells are less than 2ft. Even if the waves do not permit a nearshore voyage, there is still so much to explore along the surf and into the backcountry rivers around St. Pete, and a myriad of different species to hook into as well!

Captain Hank will provide everything you need for your Inshore/Nearshore adventure so all you need to bring are your favorite snacks and drinks, and your sun protection, and get ready to rip some lips!

Captain Hank has spent his life exploring the vibrant, fish-filled waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast. What began as a lifelong passion for fishing and boating has grown into a full-time charter business built around sharing that same excitement with others. With years of experience fishing the reefs, wrecks, and deep offshore waters from Clearwater to Venice, Captain Hank knows how to find the bite and make every trip a memorable one.

As a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain, Hank prioritizes safety,
comfort, and fun for anglers of all ages and skill levels. Hank offers family-friendly charters that are perfect for anyone — from first-time fishermen to seasoned anglers chasing trophy catches. Whether you want to target grouper, snapper, amberjack, kingfish, mahi, or tarpon, Captain Hank will use his local knowledge, top-quality tackle, and proven techniques to put you on fish.

Each trip includes everything you need — bait, gear, licenses, and ice — so you can focus on fishing and having a great time. Hank and his crew love seeing families, friends, and kids experience the thrill of reeling in their first big catch under the warm Florida sun.

Book a trip with Hank and experience why the Gulf Coast is one of the best places in the world to fish — and why Captain Hank’s guests return year after year for another unforgettable day on the water.

Hank hit all the right spots to catch enough tasty sheepshead fish and snapper to make a great fishing day out of a bad weather one. As a fair weather recreational boater and fisherman we were able to avoid the seasickness from the choppy windy conditions and make it worthwhile for the 3 teen boys for 4 hours hooking probably twenty fish with 8 good size keepers filleted by him right on shore.

Captain Hank was awesome! Called the day before to make a plan on what to fish for. Result was sharks, which my 9 year old son was out of his mind excited for. On the half day trip, we caught 5 sharks and probably 50 bait fish…an unforgettable experience!!

Captain Hank was a wonderful addition to our trip! He was smart, funny and a great conversationalist. The fishing was slow but we knew that with the pre day conversation of wind and murky water. We caught an array of different species including a bonnet head shark. Thanks for making memories with us Hank! See you next trip down from Canada!
