During an offshore trip we can troll and or bottom fish depending on whats effective for the season.Fishing can take place from 10 to 30 miles offshore potentially catching Spanish mackerel, King mackerel, Cobia, Tarpon, Jacks, Snapper, Grouper, Sailfish, Trigger fish, Mahi-Mahi, Shark and much more.

Includes: Fishing license, rods & reels, bait, tackle, ice, bottled water & all safety equipment for up to 3 anglers.

Captain Charlie is USCG certified and brings over 20 years of fishing experience. Growing up in the Philippines, Charlie’s passion for fishing began early. From fishing the rivers to going offshore in small, modified canoes, as long as he was in or near the water, he was happy. Charlie then moved to Wisconsin, where he later chased muskies until he joined the Army. From 2011 to 2018, he served in the Army, focusing on fishing in areas around Wilmington, North Carolina, and the Cape Fear River. After leaving the military, Captain Charlie pursued his dream of starting a charter business to bring joy to people who want to fish and find adventure. He relocated to Jacksonville, where he has continued to share his love for fishing with others.

How did you get started guiding?

MY LOVE FOR THE WATER STARTED AT A VERY YOUNG AGE. GROWING UP FISHING I'VE ALWAYS DREAMT OF MAKING A LIVING ON THE WATER. I ENJOY TAKING FRIENDS AND FAMILY OUT FISHING, AFTER SOME CONSIDERATION I DECIDED TO PULL THE TRIGGER AND JUMPED RIGHT INTO FULL TIME GUIDING.

What makes you different from other guides?

I LOVE TAKING PEOPLE OUT AND WATCH THEM CATCH A FISH OF A LIFETIME. I'D LIKE TO SAY THAT I AM PATIENT WITH NEW FISHERMEN AND GO THE EXTRA MILE TO GET THE BITE. I GREW UP FISHING IN THE PHILIPPINES, WISCONSIN AND NORTH CAROLINA AND I USE MY EXPERIENCE ON THE WATER FROM THOSE AREAS AND APPLY THEM IN JACKSONVILLE. MY MILITARY BACKGROUND SETS ME APART FROM OTHER GUIDES BECAUSE I AM METICULOUS AND DETAILED IN EVERYTHING I DO. I AM DILIGENT ABOUT SAFETY, PROCEDURES AND BACKUPS FOR BACKUP.

All gear is included, water is provided but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
