Just a short ride from the dock, the nearshore waters offer prime fishing grounds teeming with Grouper and Snapper, and Captain Steven knows exactly where to go to get you hooked up. Whether you're dropping lines over reefs, wrecks, or hard bottom structure, this trip is all about quality fish, hard fights, and fresh fillets.

These trips are dialed in for bottom fishing using light tackle and spinning setups to deliver a hands-on experience that’s as fun as it is rewarding. You’ll be targeting hard-pulling species like Gag Grouper and Mangrove Snapper, both known for their stubborn fights and top-tier table fare. Depending on the season and conditions, you may also tangle with Red Grouper, Lane Snapper, or even the occasional Goliath Grouper for those looking to test their strength against a true sea giant (catch and release only).

Captain Steven comes prepared with everything you need for a successful day on the water. His boat is fully outfitted with top-notch amenities including a GPS, Fishfinder, Live Bait Well, Wireless Trolling Motor, and an Ice Box to keep your drinks cold and your catch fresh. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, and live bait is always secured before your trip starts—so no time is wasted once you’re onboard.

At the end of the day, Captain Steven will clean and fillet your catch at no extra charge, so you can take home the freshest fish possible. He’ll also have bottled water onboard to keep you hydrated and your fishing license is covered, so all you need to bring is your favorite snacks and whatever you’d like to sip on.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
