About Your Trip

Get ready for a 4–5 hour nearshore adventure off the coast of Ft. Pierce with Captain Tim—perfect for anglers who want a taste of offshore action without the long ride out! These nearshore trips offer big excitement just a few miles from the beach, where reefs, wrecks, and natural structures attract a wide range of hard-fighting, great-tasting fish.

You’ll be targeting a mixed bag of species like King Mackerel, Spanish and Cero Mackerel, Mutton and
Mangrove Snapper, Red Grouper, Grunts, and more. When conditions are right, there's also a chance at Cobia, Permit, Pompano, and Sheepshead. Whether you're dropping bait on a reef or drifting a jig through a bait ball, there's no shortage of action in these waters.

Captain Tim runs a fully restored 26’ Hydra-Sports center console powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine and rigged with top-of-the-line Simrad electronics and a powerful 120 lb thrust Garmin Kraken trolling motor. Outfitted with twin 35-gallon live wells, outriggers, and an icebox to keep your catch fresh, this boat is designed for serious fishing and total comfort for up to 4 guests.

On these trips, you'll use a combination of bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and light tackle techniques. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided—including fresh live bait. Bottled water and ice are also included to keep you cool and refreshed throughout the trip. And when the fishing’s done, Captain Tim will happily clean and bag your catch at no extra charge.

With short runs to the fishing grounds, a flexible game plan based on the bite, and Captain Tim’s easygoing, experienced approach, this nearshore trip is a fantastic way to experience the thrill of saltwater fishing just off the Florida coast.
