About Your Trip

Get ready to hit the water with Captain Travis and experience some of the best freshwater fishing Central Texas has to offer! Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned angler chasing that next personal best, Captain Travis—known around these parts as “Captain T-Cock”—has the local knowledge and passion to make your day on the lake unforgettable.

Growing up in Central Texas, Captain Travis has spent his life mastering the waters of Stillhouse Hollow and
Lake Belton. These lakes are home turf for him, and he knows every hidden brush pile, drop-off, and feeding flat like the back of his hand. With that kind of experience behind the wheel, you’re in for a trip that's as productive as it is fun.

On your trip, you'll be targeting Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, with the chance to chase trophy-sized fish if that’s your goal. Whether you're looking to dial in the fundamentals—like casting, bait presentation, and reading structure—or you're after a serious hunt for the biggest bass in the lake, Captain Travis will tailor the trip to fit your skills and goals. Nothing is off the table, and he's all about creating a custom experience for each group.

Both Stillhouse and Belton offer clear water, beautiful scenery, and solid year-round bass action. Depending on the season and conditions, you might be fishing ledges, points, or submerged structure using a mix of techniques like soft plastics, jigs, crankbaits, or even finesse rigs when the bite gets tricky. Captain Travis will provide all the rods, tackle, and safety gear you'll need—just bring your fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, snacks, and your favorite drinks.

Trips are available as either half-day or full-day adventures for up to three anglers, making this a great option for solo anglers, small groups, or families. All ages and experience levels are welcome, and Captain Travis is as patient with first-timers as he is fired-up with die-hards chasing that giant bite.
