On this semi-guided whitetail hunt, you'll be chasing mature bucks and trophy-class giants deep in the heart of Van Horn, Texas. With hunts spanning 48 hours and exclusive access to private land, this is your shot at bagging a true West Texas monarch. Whether you're after a heavy-beamed buck up to 180” or hoping to cross paths with a rare drop tine bruiser, this hunt is designed to put you in the right place at the right time.

You’ll hunt from blinds overlooking proven travel corridors and feeders, using tried-and-true techniques that keep the action exciting and the odds in your favor. Night hunting and thermal opportunities are also on the table for those looking to double up on hogs after the sun goes down. While you're not glassing for antlers, feel free to cast a line — catfishing is allowed on the property and can be a relaxing way to unwind between hunts.

This trip is designed with flexibility and comfort in mind. Lodging is included, and guests can either add meals to their package or make use of the on-site cooking facilities. Wi-Fi is available at camp, so you can stay connected or share your hunt in real time. The property welcomes parties of 2 to 6 hunters and accommodates a range of skill levels, from first-timers to seasoned veterans.

If you tag a buck that scores above 180”, every inch over will be an additional $100. Mike will coordinate an easy-to-find meet-up point near the ranch ahead of time, and he’ll be in touch before your trip to go over gear recommendations and final logistics. With private land access, high-quality animals, and the raw beauty of West Texas as your backdrop, this hunt offers the perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and trophy potential.

You will be responsible for your own gear. Mike will be in touch to discuss details before the trip.
You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Mike will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
