About Your Trip

Step into a drift boat and experience Washington’s rivers the classic way—quiet, scenic, and dialed in for fishing success. These trips are all about slowing down, connecting with the water, and fishing the best stretches of river from the best seat in the house.

On our drift boat adventures, we’ll launch upstream and float several miles downriver, casting to every promising pocket, seam, and riffle along the way. Depending on river conditions, we may loop
back to a hot spot, but more often than not—it’s go with the flow. Whether we’re floating narrow creeks or bigger water, you’ll be riding in one of our specialized drift boats or rafts, each selected to match the river and conditions that day.

Fishing in Washington is a year-round affair, with different rivers and species peaking throughout the seasons. From summer sockeye on the Upper Columbia to winter steelhead on the Nooksack and trout-filled drifts down the Yakima, there’s always something biting—and we know where to find it.

-- Yakima River: Washington’s only Blue Ribbon Trout Stream and a year-round gem for fly anglers. It’s catch-and-release only, with epic dry fly hatches in the warmer months and streamer action in the fall and winter.
-- Nooksack River: One of the last best-kept secrets in the state. Known for long-running coho into January and a solid winter steelhead fishery, this river offers both fly and gear fishing depending on your style.
-- Skagit River: A powerhouse system with all five Pacific salmon species, trout, bull trout, and steelhead. From summer through fall, this river delivers serious variety and big fish potential.
-- Upper Columbia System: Think sockeye limits, summer sun, and meat for the freezer. Brewster and Wells Dam are some of our favorite summer hotspots to load the cooler and maybe even tangle with a Chinook.

All our drift boat trips are all-inclusive. We provide the boat, top-tier gear, and expert instruction tailored to your target species and preferred technique. Want to bring your own setup? Go for it—just pack light; boat space is tight.

To lock in a trip during peak season, we require a minimum number of booked seats. If you're flying solo, no problem—you can “book the boat” and enjoy a private, fully guided experience with the river all to yourself.

What’s Included:

-- Licensed, insured guides trained in CPR and Swiftwater Rescue
-- Drift boat or raft depending on the river and conditions
-- All rods, reels, tackle, flies/lures, and gear for your target species

What You’ll Need:

-- Washington State Freshwater Fishing License (age 15+)
-- Season-appropriate clothing (layers are your friend!)
-- Food, drinks, and a solid attitude

Whether you’re hunting wild trout on a remote float or chasing chrome-bright salmon through fast-moving channels, our drift boat trips are your front-row ticket to the best fishing Washington has to offer.

Outfitter
Neils and Andy are two lifelong friends who turned their love for rivers and fishing into a full-time way of life. Both born and raised in Washington, they grew up outdoors—camping, hiking, rafting, and casting lines whenever they could. They met at Central Washington University while studying Recreation Management and started guiding together in 2013.

After years of juggling seasonal river work with jobs in public education, they decided to chase the dream full-time—bringing their passion, patience, and deep river
knowledge to every trip.

They’re not just here to help you catch fish (though they’re great at that too). Their real mission is to share the joy of the river—whether it’s your first cast or your hundredth. With all gear and instruction provided, all you need is a fishing license and a good attitude. The rest? They’ve got you covered.
