About Your Trip

Get ready to explore the rich and scenic waters of the South Carolina Lowcountry with Captain Brent! Whether you're brand new to fishing or you've been chasing redfish for years, Captain Brent is all about making sure everyone on board has a fantastic time. With a patient teaching style and years of experience guiding anglers of all skill levels, he’ll tailor the day to fit your goals—whether that means learning the ropes or dialing in on a personal best.

You’ll fish aboard Captain Brent’s 22’ Pathfinder bay boat, a smooth and stable ride powered by a reliable 200 HP Yamaha engine. Designed with inshore fishing in mind, this vessel comfortably fits up to 6 guests and comes loaded with everything you need for a successful trip, including top-notch navigational gear, a GPS, fishfinder, a wireless trolling motor for stealthy approaches, a live bait well, and an ice box for your food, drinks, and any fish you decide to keep.

Speaking of fish, you’ll be targeting some of the Lowcountry’s most sought-after species, including Red Drum (aka Redfish), Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Black Drum. These fish are not only fun to catch but make for excellent table fare if you choose to bring home dinner. Captain Brent uses a variety of proven techniques including light tackle, bottom fishing, spinning, and live bait—sometimes catching bait is part of the adventure too! If that’s the case, don't worry: time spent catching bait doesn’t count against your fishing time.

Captain Brent provides high-quality gear from trusted brands like St. Croix Triumph, Daiwa BG, and Penn Spinfisher, along with all the tackle, bait, and fishing licenses you'll need for the day. You just need to bring sunscreen, snacks, drinks, and a great attitude. Alcohol is welcome in moderation (just skip the glass bottles), and please leave your cooler at home—there’s a cooler with ice already on board.

Fishing times are flexible based on tides and seasonal conditions, so Captain Brent will coordinate the ideal departure time to maximize your chances of success on the water.

Whether you're chasing tailing reds on the flats or dropping baits near structure for a chunky Sheepshead, Captain Brent is ready to put you on the fish and make sure you leave with unforgettable memories. A 20% tip is standard in the industry and always appreciated for a job well done.

Let’s make your next fishing trip one to remember—book your adventure today!
