Join Captain Mark for a trip that offers more time on the water than a half-day charter without committing to a full day offshore. Departing at 7:00 AM, it's a great option if you'd like extra fishing time while still leaving the afternoon free to enjoy Cape May's beaches, restaurants, or local attractions.

Depending on the conditions and your group's preferences, Captain Mark may fish using trolling, bottom fishing, or a combination of both. The additional time on the water provides more flexibility to explore different areas and fishing techniques throughout the trip.

You'll fish aboard Captain Mark's 44' sportfisher, a federally permitted vessel equipped for offshore fishing. The boat features GPS, a fishfinder, outriggers, a live bait well, an ice box, and a berth for added comfort during the trip. Additional amenities include an air-conditioned cabin, a restroom, and Bluetooth audio, allowing your group to connect a device and play your own music while you're on the water.

This trip is family-friendly, disability-friendly, and well suited for beginner to intermediate anglers. Captain Mark provides all bait, tackle, and fishing gear, and fish cleaning is included for any legal catch you'd like to keep. We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any other personal items you'd like to have with you during the trip.

Captain Mark Jr started his fishing career as the first mate at the ripe young age of just 8 years old. As soon as he turned 18, Captain Mark Jr. officially joined his father to carry on his legacy with their charters.

Together, the two of them have 70+ years of experience fishing the waters of the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. With their combined knowledge and experience, rest assured that this father-son tag team will do everything possible to make sure your experience is unforgettable!

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
