About Your Trip

Join Captain Bryan for an exciting 8-hour Salmon and Trout fishing trip on the legendary waters of Lake Michigan, departing from Muskegon, MI. With decades of experience and a passion for big water angling, Captain Bryan will guide you through some of the most productive fishing grounds for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Steelhead, and Brown Trout—fish that Lake Michigan is famous for.

You’ll fish aboard a spacious and comfortable 34’ Trojan sportfisher, fully
outfitted for serious trolling with outriggers, downriggers, and quality tackle. The boat has everything you need for a great day on the water: air conditioning, heating, a full kitchen, private restroom, and plenty of space for up to 6 guests, making it a perfect choice for families or small groups. There’s even a fighting chair for going toe-to-fin with hard-pulling Salmon and Trout.

This trip focuses primarily on trolling with flashers and artificial lures, a time-tested method for covering water and locating active fish. When conditions are right, you may also have the chance to do some light jigging, depending on how the fish are stacked up. Whether you're chasing early-morning Salmon or deep-water Lake Trout, Captain Bryan will work hard to put you in the right place at the right time.

All rods, reels, and tackle are provided, but if you have a favorite setup, you're welcome to bring it along. The catch is yours to keep, and the crew will clean and bag your fish at the end of the trip. Just don’t forget your Michigan fishing license, plus any snacks and drinks you’d like for the day.

Children are welcome, and Captain Bryan is happy to make it a family-friendly outing—just bring a life vest for any kids who need one.

Whether you're an experienced angler or trying Lake Michigan Salmon fishing for the first time, this trip offers the chance to reel in some of the most sought-after species in freshwater—and to do it in comfort, with a knowledgeable guide at the helm.
