About Your Trip

Fish the quiet backwaters and grass flats around Buck Hall Recreation Area and the stunning marshes of Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge with Captain Tony. These trips are all about steady inshore action, beautiful scenery, and a flexible day on the water tailored to your group.

Depending on the season and conditions, you’ll target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spadefish, Seabass, and even sharks if you’d like to mix it up. Captain Tony
uses a variety of techniques including bottom fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning to match the bite.

You’ll fish aboard a stable 25’ Blackjack 256 equipped with a wireless trolling motor and wide, open deck space that’s comfortable for up to 6 anglers. The smooth, dry ride and stable platform make this a great boat for kids and anyone who prefers a little extra room while fishing.

Trip Options

6 Hours (3/4 Day): More time to explore, fish, or even stop at a private beach

8 Hours (Full Day): A full inshore experience with the freedom to customize your day

Want to break up the fishing to explore a quiet beach, collect shells, or target sharks? Just let the captain know — it’s your trip.

Independent Guide
An outdoor enthusiast his whole life, Captain Tony started his fishing career on Lake Marion chasing bass and catfish at a young age but was always intrigued by the salt water. At 12 years old he was chasing mahi, wahoo and billfish with his dad and running the cockpit by 15. After attending Clemson University he went into agricultural sales but always dreamt of more time on the water. While attaining his captains license Tony worked on commercial grouper, snapper boats out of Murrels Inlet where he became a proficient spear fisherman. He looks forward to every trip and showing his guests a memorable time on the water.

Each trip is customized to you and your goals. Once you step on the boat it is your day on the water and you are the top priority. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting.
