About Your Trip

Drift the productive inshore waters near Cape May for one of the area’s most popular and delicious targets: Summer Flounder. These private 4- or 8-hour trips with Captain Joseph are perfect for small groups (up to 4 anglers) who want steady action and a cooler full of great table fare.

You’ll fish the sandy bottom, channels, and structure of Delaware Bay and nearby inshore grounds where fluke lie in wait. Using proven drift techniques, bucktails,
soft plastics, and live bait, you’ll keep your offering right in the strike zone where these ambush predators feed.

Whether you’re new to flounder fishing or a seasoned angler chasing a “doormat,” Captain Joseph will coach you through detecting bites, working your rig, and timing the hookset to put more fish in the boat.

Your Boat

You’ll fish aboard a 2008 Sea Hunt center console powered by a 150HP Suzuki, a stable and comfortable platform ideal for drifting and working bottom structure.

What to Expect

- Classic drift fishing over proven fluke structure
- Hands-on instruction and plenty of room with a 4-person max
- A great chance at keeper flounder with the possibility of true trophy fish

What to Bring

Snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and a cooler for your fillets. Flounder are some of the best eating fish in the bay, and your catch will be ready to head home with you.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, productive day on the water targeting great table fare, Cape May flounder fishing is hard to beat.
