About Your Trip

Join Captain Rob for a day on the water backed by years of experience and local knowledge. These waters are known for Walleye, Steelhead (Rainbow Trout), Lake Trout, and more, and we’ll use the technique that best fits the conditions — light tackle, trolling, drifting, or jigging — to give you the best shot at success.

You’ll fish aboard a spacious 33’ sportfishing boat built for comfort and performance. With room for up to 6 guests, the boat is equipped with downriggers, advanced electronics, radar, GPS, fishfinder, and a live bait well. Inside, you’ll find an enclosed bathroom with sink and shower, air conditioning, a kitchen, refrigerator, multimedia system, and plenty of seating. The vessel is also wheelchair accessible, making it a great option for a wide range of anglers.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait are included. The crew handles all baiting so it doesn’t cut into your fishing time. After the trip, your catch will be cleaned and packaged at a local fish cleaning station — just bring a cooler for the ride home. Captain Rob is joined by his longtime first mate, Justin, a Lake Erie native who has been working charters since he was a kid. He’ll be there to keep lines running smoothly and help put fish in the boat. A 10–20% tip for the mate is customary.

Families are welcome, and kids are encouraged to join. Be sure to ask about child-sized life jackets if needed. Before your trip, you’ll need to purchase a local fishing license. Some species may have seasonal regulations or limits, so feel free to ask if you have questions.

We recommend bringing sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, bottled water, and any snacks you’d like. Alcohol is permitted in moderation, but no hard liquor or glass bottles.

Whether you’re looking to fill the cooler, introduce the kids to fishing, or spend a comfortable day on the water chasing trophy fish, Captain Rob and crew are ready to make it happen.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Robert will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
