About Your Trip

Our 3–4 Hour Inshore/Nearshore trip is the perfect amount of time to explore the productive waters around Gulf Shores and Orange Beach while targeting a variety of local fish. We’ll fish the bays, passes, bridges, and nearshore structure depending on where the bite is best that day.

This trip gives us more time to move around, find active fish, and dial in the bite. Depending on the season, we commonly target redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, black drum, and other local species.

It’s a great option for families, beginners, or anglers who want more fishing time than a quick trip but don’t want to spend a full day on the water. Captain Reid will guide you every step of the way and make sure everyone has a great time.

All rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are included—just bring your favorite drinks, snacks, and get ready to catch fish.

I’ve been fishing the waters around Gulf Shores and Mobile Bay since I was young with my father and brother(Capt. Cade), and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. I run inshore and nearshore trips with a focus on light tackle — because in my opinion, that’s the most fun way to do it.

Red snapper are my favorite to target, but what I enjoy most is seeing clients — especially kids and first-timers — hook into something that gets their heart racing. I’m laid back, but I’ll admit I’ve got a competitive side when it comes to putting people on fish.

I am a GSU graduate ( GATA ) that has obtained a USCG captain’s license and years of experience being a deck hand in the area, you’re getting someone who knows these waters and takes pride in running a first-class operation. I believe in taking care of our fishery so future generations can enjoy it too.

If you want a relaxed trip with someone who knows the area and genuinely wants you to succeed, I’d love to have you aboard.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.

After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
