Looking for a laid-back, fun-filled day on the water? Join Captain Pete for a customizable pontoon excursion built around relaxing, cruising, and enjoying Long Island’s south shore with your crew.

These trips are all about flexibility. Whether you’re looking to hit a sandbar, cruise to the beach, check out waterfront bars, catch a sunset, or just hang out on the water with friends and family, Captain Pete will tailor the day to your group. It’s a great option for everything from casual family outings to full-on summer celebrations.

A Full Day of Summer Done Right

Most trips center around a beach break at one of the area’s protected sandbars. You’ll anchor up in shallow water where you can swim, float, and relax while music plays and the grill gets going. There’s plenty of space to spread out on board or in the water, and the vibe can be as laid-back or as lively as you want it to be.

If you’re up for a little action, your trip also includes tubing along with a variety of water toys like rafts, loungers, and water games. Whether you’re in the water or posted up on deck, there’s always something going on.

The Boat

You’ll be cruising aboard a 24’ pontoon equipped for comfort and fun, with wrap-around seating, sun loungers, a quality sound system, and a sun shade when you need a break from the heat. There’s also a bathroom on board and an easy boarding ramp for hopping on and off at the beach.

Everything you need for a great day is included, from ice and BBQ setup to water toys and safety gear. Captain Pete and his crew are fully licensed and insured, so you can relax knowing you’re in good hands.

Good to Know

Bring along your favorite food and drinks, or coordinate ahead of time for a barbecue setup. Towels, sunscreen, and good vibes are always encouraged.

This is one of the easiest and most fun ways to enjoy summer on the water—whether you’re cruising, swimming, or just kicking back with your crew.

Everything Else to Know

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 30 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 30 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

We vet our guides and only partner with the best of the best. Our guides do their very best to keep you safe, show you a great time, and send you home with a memorable experience shared with family and friends.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
