About Your Trip

Spend a day fishing in the heart of the Adirondack Park, surrounded by some of the most scenic and untouched water in the Northeast. These trips are built around exploring a variety of lakes and rivers while targeting whatever species are most active for the season.

With access to waters around Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Tupper Lake, Schroon Lake, and beyond, each trip is tailored to conditions and your goals for the day. Whether you’re
looking to cover water, sight fish the shallows, or work deeper structure, your guides will adjust the plan to keep you on fish.

The Experience

These trips are designed to be flexible and approachable for all skill levels. You might spend part of the day casting to bass and pike in shallow grass, then adjust to deeper water as conditions change. Seasonal patterns play a big role—spring can mean trolling for lake trout or targeting shallow pike, while summer and fall open up opportunities for bass, crappie, and more technical approaches.

Whether you prefer conventional tackle or fly fishing, your guide will set you up with the right approach and keep things moving throughout the day.

Trip Options

Shorter 3-hour trips are a great option for families or anyone looking to get a quick taste of Adirondack fishing while seeing multiple lakes. Half day trips give you more time to settle in and explore different water, while full day trips allow you to cover more ground and really dial in the bite.

The Setup

You’ll be fishing from a smooth-riding Pathfinder boat equipped with modern electronics, a wireless trolling motor, and everything needed for a productive day on the water. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, along with a cooler and ice to keep drinks and snacks cold.

Trips can accommodate up to five anglers and are family-friendly, making them a great option for groups of all experience levels.

What You’ll Be Targeting

Depending on the time of year, you may target largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, lake trout, crappie, perch, and more. The variety of water and species keeps things interesting and allows for a well-rounded fishing experience.

Good to Know

Fishing licenses are not included, so be sure to pick one up ahead of time. Kids are welcome, and younger anglers are encouraged to join, with life jacket requirements in place for safety.

These trips are all about getting outside, covering water, and enjoying everything the Adirondacks have to offer—whether that’s chasing fish, learning new techniques, or just spending time on the water.

Independent Guide
Run by two avid anglers (Justin & Dylan) who have grown up with a passion for outdoors and fishing. The Adirondack Park has been our backyard for years. We have explored vast numbers of lakes and rivers around us and continue to search for more and more. We would like to bring others to our backyard to learn and experience the wild nature we have here. So come join us for a memorable day on the water.

Our fleet includes
a newly refurbished 1900V Pathfinder & a 2000v Pathfinder boat. Both boats offer a vey smooth ride. Ice chests are always on each boat, along with fishing gear and lures needed to catch the fish.

Welcoming all experiences of anglers. You are never too experienced or to novice to learn a few new things about the ever evolving sport that is fishing. We are VERY serious about the protection, preservation, and care for the fish so handling is always kept to a minimum with the fish remaining in the net until cameras are ready and your ready for your hero shot!

How did you get started guiding?
Met a local guide while being a Luge athlete who was about my age. We hit it off well and he taught me everything he knew. Worked for him for few years before he recommended I start a company. 6 years later we are growing in our range of area we cover, amount of boats and trips we can do and updating boats with most up to date gear you can have!
What makes you different from other guides?
We take our environmental passion for our home and share it with our clients. We plan to protect our waters through catch and release only. We were born in the area and grew up fishing these waters our whole lives. 30 years of learning ever nook and cranny
