About Your Trip

Spend five hours chasing hard-fighting Striped Bass on Lake Hartwell with Captain Nathan, a lifelong Hartwell angler who knows these waters and their Striper fishery inside and out. Whether you're introducing the kids to fishing, trying Striper fishing for the first time, or you're an experienced angler looking to put some quality fish in the boat, Nathan will tailor the trip to your group and the conditions.

You'll meet at Hatton's Ford Boat Ramp in Townville, South Carolina, before heading out onto Lake Hartwell in Nathan's 22' Tracker Fishing Barge. The pontoon offers plenty of room to fish comfortably and is equipped with dual Garmin fish finders, two live wells, comfortable seating, and a canopy top that provides some welcome protection from the sun or rain.

Once you're on the water, Nathan will use his years of experience and electronics to locate active Stripers before getting your group set up with the right bait, tackle, and presentation for the day. All high-performance rods, reels, bait, and tackle are provided, so you'll have everything you need to get after one of Lake Hartwell's most exciting gamefish.

Nathan welcomes anglers of all experience levels and enjoys helping newcomers learn while still giving seasoned fishermen a productive day on the water. Adult and children's life jackets are kept aboard, making this a great option for families as well.

Striper fishing is his specialty, and few things make him happier than helping guests experience the excitement of hooking into one of Lake Hartwell's hard-fighting Stripers. Nathan welcomes everyone from first-time anglers and families with kids to experienced fishermen. He's happy to teach along the way, help guests improve their skills, and adjust the day to make sure everyone aboard has a great experience.

For Nathan, a successful trip isn't measured only by what's brought to the boat. It's about enjoying time outside, sharing a few laughs, learning something new, and making memories with the people you're fishing with.

Nathan runs his trips aboard a 22' Tracker Fishing Barge that's particularly well suited for groups and families. The pontoon features comfortable seating for up to six guests, a canopy top, dual Garmin fish finders, two live wells, and plenty of room to spread out and fish. Adult and children's life jackets are kept aboard, and fishing trips include rods, reels, bait, and tackle.

Whether you're coming to Lake Hartwell specifically to chase Stripers or simply want to spend a relaxing evening cruising the lake at sunset, Captain Nathan is ready to show you around the waters he's called home his entire life.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
