About Your Trip

Get out on the water for a fun, hands-on fishing trip just off the coast with Captain Zach! This trip is perfect for anglers of all experience levels. Captain Zach strives to put his guests in the best areas to catch fish and make memories where the conversion doesn’t stop at the boat dock!

On your trip out with Captain Zach you will be aboard a 24ft Ranger center console. His boat is powered by a Mercury Verado 275hp, so you will be on the fish in no time! You’ll be targeting a different range of species inshore and nearshore including Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder along with several other species!

Captain Zach provides all rods, reels, tackle, bait, fishing licenses, fish cleaning and all the knowledge you will need for a successful day of fishing out on the Gulf waters! All you need to bring with you and your crew is some of your favorite snacks, a couple drinks in a small cooler, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and your camera to capture those perfect moments of reeling in some of your greatest catches!

How did you get started guiding?

I started out on my dads boat when I was just a kid at the age of 5 and started deck handing for him as I got older.

What makes you different from other guides?

I strive to give my customers the best experience every time, meaning you may not have a great time if the wind and waves do not cooperate and it will be hard to catch fish. Since I like to give my customers their greatest experience on the water yet if the conditions are not safe to go out and you’ve already booked a trip we will move you to a day that looks better as long as you agree, I am not here to take your money because I want a paycheck, I am here to make sure you go out and have a great time, you go out safe and come back safe, and most of all catch some fish!

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing a small cooler with drinks and snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
