1/2 day trip (4 hours) is a great option for family fun, I have almost 20 years experience as a professional full time fishing guide and I’ll do my best to make your fishing trip as memorable as possible with 100% effort giving to your target species and having a safe enjoyable day on the water.

4 hour trips will typically be inshore or nearshore (<10 miles out) targeting your desired species or most action (what’s currently running)

8 hour trips (regular full day) and most times are for a specific fish or group of fish and allow more time to travel out and back (1-30 miles out or up ICW to Neuse River)

2025 Southern Cross boat (25’) with 300hp Suzuki outboard motor, fully rigged tower for sight fishing, all outfitted with the latest electronics, top notch tackle, all state and federal permits not mention safety gear are well above minimum requirements.

How did you get started guiding?

I’ve been an avid outdoorsman my entire life, I was a part time guide with a day job until almost 20 years ago, 2007 I was laid off from my day job and became a full time guide.

What makes you different from other guides?

I’m local with a lifetime of experience, I grew up recreationally, tournament and commercially fishing which build my foundation for becoming a professional guide. As I’ve seen our resource changing I’ve tried to adapt and become a better steward by not being wasteful yet still harvesting lots of tasty seafood in a responsible manner.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing food, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip but, nothing you won’t need. Dry storage is limited to small bags etc.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
