About Your Trip

Spend a fun, hands-on day exploring the calm inshore waters of Southwest Florida with a trip designed for anglers of all ages. From the mangrove-lined backwaters to the scenic islands of the Ten Thousand Islands, this experience blends fishing, wildlife, and beach time into one memorable outing.

You’ll be targeting species like redfish, snook, spotted seatrout, sheepshead, and black drum using light tackle that’s easy to handle and perfect for beginners and kids alike.

The Experience

These trips are built around keeping everyone engaged and having a good time on the water. You’ll start by fishing productive areas like grass flats and mangrove shorelines, learning the basics of casting, working bait, and fighting fish along the way.

After some time on the rods, you may head to a nearby barrier island to relax, explore, and do a little shelling. It’s a great way to mix things up and keep the day enjoyable for the whole group. Wildlife sightings like dolphins, manatees, and coastal birds are common throughout the trip.

The Boat & Setup

You’ll be fishing aboard a comfortable 24’ boat set up for both fishing and cruising, with space for up to 6 guests. The boat features shaded seating, a livewell, GPS, and a small onboard restroom to keep things convenient for families.

All rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included, along with water and lunch—so you can focus on enjoying the day.

What Sets It Apart

This trip is designed with families in mind. It’s a relaxed, low-pressure environment where kids and adults alike can learn, fish, and explore. The combination of fishing and island time keeps things moving and makes it more than just a typical charter.

Good to Know

These trips are catch-and-release focused and suitable for all experience levels. Be sure to bring sun protection, comfortable clothing, and anything else you’d like for the day.

If you’re looking for a laid-back, engaging way to experience Naples’ waters, this trip is hard to beat.

About Your Guide

William F.

Independent Guide

Captain William is a Southwest Florida native who grew up fishing the Gulf Coast and learning the ins and outs of the local waters from a young age. That early passion turned into a career built around sharing those experiences with others.

He specializes in family-friendly trips, creating a welcoming and patient environment where kids, parents, and grandparents can all enjoy time on the water. Known for his approachable style and ability to teach, he makes it easy for beginners to get involved while still keeping things engaging for more experienced anglers.

With years of experience guiding in the Naples area, Captain William has a strong understanding of seasonal patterns, tides, and where to find fish. He combines that knowledge with a focus on safety, education, and conservation—helping guests not only catch fish, but also better understand the ecosystem they’re fishing in.

For him, it’s all about creating lasting memories and helping the next generation fall in love with the water.
