About Your Trip

This isn’t just a boat ride—it’s a 4hr. educational adventure. We specialize in family-friendly fishing, providing a patient and safe environment where kids can learn the ropes
while seasoned anglers sharpen their skills. With a deep knowledge of seasonal patterns and "forward-facing sonar" (Mega Live2) on board, we ensure the action stays engaging for everyone from start to finish.

Why Book This Trip?

Family First: We provide kid-friendly life jackets, light tackle suited for smaller hands, and a "no-pressure" coaching style.

Top-Tier Gear: Fish from a fully-rigged Alumacraft Competitor equipped with Humminbird electronics and premium rods and reels.

What’s Included

Full Gear & Bait: All rods, reels, tackle, and live bait are provided.

Safety Gear: USCG-approved life jackets for all ages. If youth have properly fitted PFDS they are comfortable wearing, feel free to bring.

Independent Guide
I grew up with a passion for the waters of Northwest Michigan, and today, I’m lucky enough to share that obsession with others. As the owner, my goal isn't just to help you catch fish—it’s to make sure you have the best possible day on the water. Whether we are chasing Walleye on Long Lake or targeting Cisco during the spring and fall runs, I focus on providing a professional, educational, and high-energy experience for every guest.

Specialties & Style

I consider myself a multi-species specialist with a particular love for the tactical side of fishing. My boat, a Alumacraft Competitor Tiller, is rigged with the latest Humminbird electronics (including Mega Live2), allowing us to find fish with precision. I enjoy teaching my guests how to read the sonar and master specific techniques like jigging and trolling so they can take those skills home with them.

Family-Friendly Fishing

As a "Big Brother" and a local guide, I take a "family-first" approach. I know that for many parents, the goal is to get the kids excited about the outdoors. I pride myself on being patient, safety-conscious, and dedicated to making sure the youngest anglers on board have a rod in their hand and a smile on their face.

Local Roots

Based right here in Traverse City, I have spent years learning the subtle patterns of our inland lakes and the Grand Traverse Bays. I stay on the pulse of what’s biting right now, so we aren’t just fishing—we’re catching!
