Known nationwide for its cold-water fishery below Table Rock Dam, Taneycomo provides outstanding year-round opportunities to target Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout, along with seasonal opportunities for Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and Crappie. Your trip begins at a convenient launch location and takes you to productive stretches of the lake selected based on current water conditions, generation schedules, and seasonal fish patterns.

Throughout the trip, Captain Andrew will guide you using proven local techniques designed to maximize your success. Depending on the target species and conditions, you may fish with light tackle, artificial lures, live bait, drifting presentations, or other specialized methods that consistently produce fish on Taneycomo. Whether you're looking to catch your first trout, fill a limit of rainbows, or pursue a trophy brown trout, every trip is customized to your goals and skill level.

Your adventure takes place aboard a fully equipped 21' bass boat that comfortably accommodates up to four anglers. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, allowing you to focus entirely on fishing. Families and children are welcome, making this an excellent trip for anglers of all experience levels. Simply bring a valid Missouri fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and any snacks or drinks you'd like to enjoy during your time on the water.

I am a 24-year-old angler from Rogersville, Missouri, and bass fishing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My passion for the sport began at a young age, fishing alongside my dad, who taught me not only how to become a better angler but also how to respect the outdoors and appreciate the beauty of bass fishing. As I grew older, my passion turned into a competitive pursuit. I attended Missouri State University, where I competed in collegiate bass fishing and had the opportunity to travel across the country fishing B.A.S.S. and Major League Fishing (MLF) events. Competing against talented anglers from around the nation helped me develop my skills, work ethic, and understanding of the sport. The lessons I've learned through fishing—patience, preparation, perseverance, and adaptability—have shaped who I am both on and off the water. Today, I continue to pursue opportunities to compete at a high level while constantly working to improve as an angler. Bass fishing is more than a hobby to me; it is a lifelong passion that has provided unforgettable experiences, lasting friendships, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. I look forward to continuing my journey in the sport and representing it with integrity and respect.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

We had an outstanding day on the water with Andrew Sell! From the moment we launched, it was obvious he genuinely loves what he does and is passionate about helping his clients have a great experience. We caught largemouth bass, spotted bass, and even some catfish, so there was never a dull moment.

What really set this trip apart was how engaged Andrew was with my son. He took the time to teach him different fishing techniques, explain why they worked, and made sure he was involved every step of the way. Seeing my son learning and having so much fun made the trip even more memorable.

Andrew also showed us how LiveScope works, which was incredibly interesting and added a whole new level to the experience. He was patient, knowledgeable, and happy to answer every question we had.

If you’re looking for a guide who works hard, knows how to find fish, is great with kids, and truly enjoys what he does, Andrew is the one to book. We made great memories, caught plenty of fish, learned a lot, and had an amazing time. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and we’ll definitely be booking another trip with him in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Captain Andrew was a pleasure to fish with. He put us on the fish even on a slow day. He was friendly and attentive to our needs. We caught largemouth bass, spotted bass, and bream/perch. We came home with fresh caught dinner which is exactly what we wanted! Highly recommended!!!

Andrew was great! He was great with my 11 year old son, taught him some things about his equipment and fishing in general.

He was knowledgeable about the lake and had a game plan of where to go and when to adjust spots.

Landed this absolute monster catfish at the end as well! My son had a blast which is what it was all about!

I would highly recommend!
