Join Captain Molly for a private fishing adventure on the iconic waters of San Francisco Bay. Available in 5-hour, 6-hour, or full-day 8-hour formats, these trips are designed to give anglers of all skill levels a fun and comfortable day on the water while targeting some of the Bay's most popular game fish.

Depending on the season, weather, tides, and where the fish are feeding, you'll target Striped Bass, Halibut, and Rockfish throughout San Francisco Bay and surrounding coastal waters. Conditions may lead you to fish inside the Bay, around local flats and channels, or outside the Golden Gate if conditions permit. Captain Molly adjusts each trip to current conditions to give you the best opportunity possible while making the most of your time on the water.

The 5-hour trip is perfect for families, beginners, and anglers looking for a half-day escape. The 6-hour option provides additional flexibility to explore more areas and adapt to changing conditions throughout the day. For anglers who want to maximize their opportunities and cover the most water possible, the 8-hour full-day trip offers the ultimate San Francisco fishing experience.

Your trip includes all rods, reels, tackle, bait, snacks, water, and Gatorade. The 28' Shamrock pilothouse features a heated and air-conditioned cabin, private restroom, modern electronics, and comfortable seating for up to five guests. Fish cleaning and filleting are included, so all you need to bring is your California fishing license if you're 16 or older, appropriate clothing, and your favorite food and drinks.

Captain Molly is a San Francisco native, one of the Bay's few female USCG-licensed captains, and someone who genuinely loves sharing her home waters with others. Whether she's helping a first-time angler catch their very first fish or guiding experienced fishermen to productive spots around the Bay, her focus is always on creating a fun, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Fishing aboard her 28' Shamrock pilothouse means enjoying one of the most comfortable rides on the Bay. The boat features a heated and air-conditioned cabin, private marine restroom, modern electronics, and all the safety equipment needed for a worry-free day on the water. Families, children, and groups of friends are especially welcome, and Molly takes pride in tailoring each trip to the people on board.

Every charter includes quality rods, reels, tackle, bait, snacks, drinks, and fish cleaning. Alongside her experienced crew, Captain Molly works hard to make every trip enjoyable, whether you're chasing salmon offshore, hunting trophy lingcod around the Farallons, or simply spending a relaxing day fishing the beautiful waters of San Francisco Bay.

Everything Else to Know

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. it’s also necessary to get a California fishing license for $20. I don’t have wheelchair access but you can board my vessel if you’re in a walker or use a cane.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
