Join Captain Darrell for a productive day of walleye and perch fishing on the waters of Lake Erie, departing from the Huron Boat Basin. Whether you're a seasoned angler or stepping aboard for the first time, this trip is designed to provide a fun, family-friendly experience with plenty of opportunities to put fish in the boat.

Most trips focus on trolling, one of the most effective techniques for targeting Lake Erie's famous walleye. Depending on the season and current fishing conditions, you'll spend the day covering productive water and searching for active schools of fish. Perch are also a popular target throughout much of the year, giving anglers the chance to head home with a cooler full of some of the Midwest's finest table fare.

Trips typically run for 6 hours, giving you plenty of time to reach the fishing grounds and maximize your opportunities on the water. Captain Darrell operates a comfortable 21' North River boat that is well-suited for navigating Lake Erie while providing a smooth and enjoyable ride for anglers of all experience levels.

All rods, reels, tackle, and fishing equipment are provided. Best of all, fish cleaning is included at the end of the trip, so you'll leave with your catch cleaned and ready for the table.

This trip is kid-friendly and a great option for families looking to introduce younger anglers to fishing. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, snacks, and beverages to enjoy throughout the day.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. As well as cooler to keep your catch

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
